Well, it’s getting near that time when fishing becomes a major priority in the Greater Kalamazoo/Plainwell area.  The planning committee is excited to be holding the 2008 Scotty Bud Bass Classic on July 19th at Gull Lake.

We are again partnering with the City of Plainwell’s Island Festival to put on a high quality event.  This event was the largest charity event in Western Michigan last summer, and we expect another full field for 2008.

The City of Plainwell will be hosting our awards ceremony and luncheon.  The boat parade from Gull Lake to Plainwell was a huge favorite at the Island Festival last year, and we are excited about being invited back to share our day with the Plainwell Committee.

Attached to this email is the entry form, so download it today and get registered before the field fills up.  As we get closer to the event, this article will be updated with check in instructions for the morning, along with additional schedule information.  Check out the 2008 TV commercial on WWMT Channel 3, and for your friends who don’t have a computer, they can pick up a registration form at D&R Sports and other local fishing shops.
